What our drivers are saying
I am appreciated. I left another place after 15 years where the management team always made you feel like you were just a number. I love it here. I love the drivers. It's my home away from home. It's a family atmosphere. The people are wonderful. And unless you really know who's who in the company you would never be able to tell the upper management from the rest.

I became a member of the Cox family January 2022. I feel I made the most conscious decision of my life! I love the rapport amongst my fellow peers. I always feel welcomed and appreciated when I come through the Hub. When I am on the road, l am so confident and assured l am thought of and cared about. It is very comforting to know that. I represent Cox Trucking and the definition of pride and accountability. Thank you so much for your loving and caring ways. I appreciate you and yours.

I began driving "Big Rigs" in 1966. My first job was with Safeway Stores which was the largest grocery chain in the country. In 1979 I went to work for Milne Truck Lines which was one of the largest LTL carriers in the western United States. Then in 1988 I went to work for Consolidated Freightways. I retired in 2000 and after six years got tired of being retired, so started working part time for several different companies in Southern Utah. I began working for Cox Trucking in December of 2015. I can truthfully say that my seven years with Cox has been the most pleasurable of my entire driving career. Everyone in management treats you with respect and cordiality. My dispatcher was always willing to work around my schedule and always got me home when I needed. And most importantly, Cox's fleet is one of the best looking on the road and their trucks are the cleanest and best maintained that I have ever driven. P.S. Over 50 years of driving and many, many dispatchers, Todd Ellis is the best that I ever worked for.

At every other trucking company that I've worked for since 2004, and it's more than I would like, has only known me by my truck number. I was just a number and was treated as such. Whenever I had a personal issue, just needed to talk to someone or be paid and treated like a person, I was rebuffed. That has NOT been my experience here at Cox. Granted I'm just now at 88 days of employment, I have never been treated like a number. Actually, when I call into the shop, dispatch or safety etc, I give my truck number and the person seems to pause, as if confused why I'm giving it. That in itself makes me feel good and makes me feel like I made the right choice coming over to Cox. For the last 3 months every member of the team have done their very best to get me back to see my family, if even just for an overnight, and I greatly appreciate that. Also after only about 2 months with the company I needed to readdress the way and how much I was paid so that I could continue to be with the company for the Long Haul, and they accommodated me quickly and very much to my satisfaction. In this day and age, in this industry, and in this economic environment, I have to say I feel like I made the best and right choice for me and my family to continue my Trucking career. I hope to have the opportunity to work for Cox Trucking for the rest of my career.

Years ago back in 2012 I had just moved to St. George and was looking for work. Luckily my wife knew Don working with the Chamber of Commerce in St. George. And he said if I would go to a good school and get my CDL he would give me a chance to work for Parke cox. As it turned out I got that chance and have never looked back. I had the opportunity to get to know Parke and Emily, it just felt like a big family everyone is so nice and treat everyone like an equal. I’ve always enjoyed working with all the dispatchers throughout the years . Proud to drive the new trucks and trailers. They say a happy employee is a productive employee and that’s how I feel about PARKE COX TRUCKING, I’ve had a lot of friends jump from one trucking job to another throughout the years, I’m proud to say I’ve been with Cox my whole career as a driver and will be here until I retire….
