Driver Qualifications
We know that our drivers are the heart and soul of what we do. The safety of our drivers and the condition of our fleet are our top priorities. For the 10 months ended Oct 31, 2025 our Samsara safety score is 94 out of 100. We use a this safety score to help track and improve safe driving across our fleet. In addition to prioritizing safety we also look for the following qualifications:
Class A Drivers’ License
Acceptable motor vehicle record
Limited job hopping
FMCSA Medical Certification (short and long-form)
Must be able to complete an INS form (two proper forms of ID)
21 Years of Age or older
Two years of OTR, local or regional driving experience
Ability to pass a Cox Fitness for Duty Test
Pass a criminal and previous employment background check. (Felonies and misdemeanors will not automatically DQ a driver, but will be reviewed individually.)
